University of Southern Queensland, RMIT University and The University of Melbourne organized fourth workshop on waste management and recycling in Brisbane, Australia.
The workshop included an overview of the existing and potential solutions, provide an opportunity to hear from the recycling industry and researchers and will offer a fantastic networking opportunity to learn from other council colleagues.
The workshop aimed to pave the way for you to actively participate towards the development of a research program being compiled by the two Universities for submission for funding from the Australian Research Council and other sources to address the major needs of local councils.
The research program will be developed in collaboration with the local councils, recycling industry, materials and product manufacturers and the state government.
